Nissan Motor plans to launch a slew of new vehicles, including electric cars, in the growing Chinese market over the next five years, which could help the Japanese automaker return to profit, Reuters reported on Saturday. The company said it will launch nine new and re-designed electric models in the world's biggest auto market by 2025, including plug-in electric vehicles and hybrid electric cars that charge with a gasoline engine.

Hyundai's affiliate Kia Motors Corporation is launching an initiative to rejoin the ranks of mainstream vehicle brands in China, and the key advantage is differentiation, a senior executive said. "You have to be different. If you just follow others you will be in big trouble," said Li Feng, president of its Chinese joint venture Dongfeng Yueda Kia.

China's new economic development pattern of "dual circulation" relies on domestic circulation to drive its international circulation and promotes deeper and wider opening-up, experts said on Tuesday.

China's international trade surplus in goods and services last month stood at 312.1 billion yuan ($45 billion), official data showed on Tuesday. The country's trade income amounted to over 1.69 trillion yuan, while expenditure was at 1.38 trillion yuan, according to data released by the State Administration of Foreign Exchange.
