France-based Total S.A. has brought its electric charging services into China with the launch of its first standalone electric vehicle charging station in Wuhan on Tuesday, with an eye on becoming a significant player in the EV market across China within the coming years.

China's box-office revenue has hit 5 billion yuan ($733 million) by Monday since theaters reopened on July 20 following months of closure due to COVID-19. Epic war drama "The Eight Hundred," formally released on Aug 21, contributed more than half of the total, grossing over 2.6 billion yuan as of Monday, data compiled by Maoyan, a movie-ticketing and film data platform, showed.

Changes in the way healthcare is delivered during the COVID-19 outbreak, together with policies the Chinese government has taken, have combined to spur China's online healthcare system especially in chronic disease management, a recent report by iResearch Consulting Firm said.

China can attain positive economic growth in 2020 and reach its major targets for the year, but will only do so after making arduous efforts to overcome risks and challenges, Premier Li Keqiang said on Tuesday.

Top Chinese private enterprises have achieved revenue growth despite the global economic downturn and they have beefed up their investment in independent technologies to weather future uncertainties, the latest industry report said.
