From September 18 to 21, 2025, the Shenzhen Convention & Exhibition Center (Futian) will host a groundbreaking event that will redefine the global energy landscape—the 2025 International Digital Energy Exhibition (IDEE 2025).
Under the theme "Deep Al Energy, Digital innovation for the Future," this exhibition will, for thefirst time, adopt a full-chain perspective of "generation-grid-load-storage" to establish a 50,000square-meter innovation ecosystem. Over 400 companies will showcase nearly 1,000 cutting-edge technologies, with industry giants such as Huawei Digital Power, Sunwoda (21.480, +0.13, +0.61%), Towngas, BYD (104.880, -0.92, -0.87%), and Shenzhen Energy drawing significant attention.
Four Transformations, Three Chains: Powering the Future
Seven Exhibition Zones Showcasing the Path of Energy Transformation
The coordinated development of generation, grid, load, and storage is key to building a new energy system. IDEE 2025, centered on "digital intelligence, innovation, green development, synergy, and cooperation," aligns with the digital upgrade trend across the energy industry's full chain. Through seven exhibition zones, it deeply integrates the "four transformations" with the "three chains," presenting green equipment, smart technologies, scenario-based solutions, and derivative service ecosystems to outline the roadmap for energy transformation. These include:
Green Energy Zone / Generation
Focusing on solar, wind, hydro, nuclear, and biomass power, this zone will showcase advanced technologies such as high-efficiency heterojunction cells, perovskite modules, floating wind platforms, and next-gen nuclear solutions.
Future Grid Zone / Grid
Highlighting the intelligence and flexibility of new power systems, it will feature flexible HVDC transmission, digital twin grids, virtual power plant platforms, distributed energy integration, and ultra-high-voltage equipment.
Smart Load Zone / Load
Highlighting the intelligence and flexibility of new power systems, it will feature flexible HVDC transmission, digital twin grids, virtual power plant platforms, distributed energy integration, and ultra-high-voltage equipment.
New Energy Storage Zone / Storage
Centered on user-side energy management, it will exhibit smart building efficiency systems, industrial load regulation devices, AI-powered electricity forecasting algorithms, and smart community energy routers.
AI Empowerment Zone / Technology Chain
Demonstrating AI-energy integration, such as renewable power prediction models, equipment health assessment systems, smart maintenance robots (17.430, +0.40, +2.35%), and digital twin energy management platforms.
Clean & Low-Carbon Zone / Eco Chain
Aligned with carbon neutrality goals, it will display CCUS tech, green electricity alternatives, carbon asset management tools, and direct air capture systems.
International Enterprise Zone / Cooperation Chain
Focusing on global digital energy collaboration, it will highlight products, technologies, and solutions from international leaders.
Industry Titans Converge:
Innovation from Technology Pioneers
At this exhibition, industry leaders like Huawei Digital Power, Sunwoda, and Towngas Smart Energy will not only showcase breakthrough achievements but also contribute as co-organizers, presenting innovative solutions to drive energy transformation.
Huawei Digital Power
Committed to integrating digital and power electronics technologies, it advances clean energy and digitalization to accelerate the energy revolution. At IDEE 2025, Huawei will unveil its latest smart PV-storage solutions and ultra-fast charging systems to support carbon neutrality.
Sunwoda
A global leader in lithium-ion batteries, Sunwoda drives progress in consumer electronics, EV batteries, energy storage, smart hardware, and ecosystem innovation. This year, it will introduce the 684Ah energy storage cell, NoahX cabinet (261kWh), and Xin-Era 2000 mobile storage vehicle, offering cost-efficient storage options.
Towngas Smart Energy
With a century of energy expertise of China Gas, Towngas Smart Energy covers distributed PV, storage infrastructure, smart microgrids, virtual power plants, carbon trading, and green electricity services. In SeptemberTowngas will debut its self-developed smart energy ecosystem platform to enable integrated"generation-grid-load-storage" solutions.
Shenzhen’s Innovation in Action:
From "E-Bus City" to "Ultra-Fast Charging City 2.0"
At IDEE 2023, Shenzhen declared its ambition to become a "Digital Energy Pioneer City," backed by remarkable achievements:
From the first megacity to achieve 100% electric public buses to ultra-fast charging stations now outnumber gas stations, then to virtual Power Plant 3.0 efficiently integrates volatile renewables. The "Ultra-Fast Charging City 2.0" initiative accelerates high-power charging for trucks and flash-charging for passenger vehicles. Shenzhen is taking a pragmatic approach to steadily build a comprehensive, well-balanced, and structurally sound charging infrastructure network, turning the blueprint of a "City of Ultra-Fast Charging" into a tangible reality.
Today, Shenzhen operates 1,055 ultra-fast charging stations and over 420,000 charging points—surpassing gas stations globally. Building on this, "Ultra-Fast Charging City 2.0" will further enhance the NEV supply chain, boost innovation, and drive high-quality industry growth.
We warmly welcome all professionals from various countries to join this big event for more business opportunities in energy industry.
