Dongguan economy is booming here. In 2023, its GDP hit 147.3 billion euros, with more than 1.7 million market entities, 220,000 industrial enterprises, and 13,800 above-standard industrial enterprises, ranking first in China’s prefecture-level cities. Dongguan has established economic and trade cooperation with all European countries and regions, with an annual trade volume of 22 billion euros.
