Chinese television maker Skyworth Group is tapping into the co-working space market as it aims to take advantage of its own strengths to help small and medium-sized enterprises grow faster.

The Shenzhen-based company launched a co-working space, named Skywork, in Shenzhen earlier this week.The Beijing International Big Data Exchange, which was set up in the capital city on Wednesday with a registered capital of 200 million yuan ($30.46 million), is expected to play a key role in China's digital economy promotion efforts and facilitate more data-based transactions in the country.

China's logistics activity rebounded in March as the country's economic recovery has been gaining momentum, data from the China Federation of Logistics and Purchasing (CFLP) shows.The logistics performance index, which tracks business volumes, new orders, employment, inventory turnovers and equipment utility rates in the sector, came in at 52.7 percent last month, up 3.8 percentage points from February.

Financial technologies, or fintech, are critical for Chinese financial institutions and small and medium-sized enterprises in the post-pandemic period as the country pushes forward digital transformation of various industries for high-quality economic development, industry insiders said.

Xiangcheng, one of the fastest-growing districts in Suzhou, Jiangsu province, is stepping up efforts to develop high-tech industries for further regional economic growth.The 489-square-kilometer district is home to about 1 million people. Located near the cities of Shanghai, Hangzhou and Nanjing in East China, Xiangcheng district boasts connectivity by railway lines with Beijing and other areas.

The State Council has unveiled a new package of tax cuts totaling 550 billion yuan ($83.66 billion) for businesses this year to shore up support to smaller firms and sustain the momentum of the economic recovery.In its executive meeting on Wednesday, the Cabinet adopted measures to continue support to small and micro businesses, self-employed individuals and businesses in the advanced manufacturing sector.

Chinese tech giant Lenovo Group Ltd is working to cultivate more manufacturing talents to pursue industrial upgrade and promote intelligent transformation of production in the nation.Lenovo has launched a "purple-collar talent initiative" to help foster talents for the new intelligence transformation era.
