China is the world's largest market for new energy vehicles, but Chinese carmakers still lag behind international companies in terms of vehicle quality, according to a JD Power China study released Thursday.

On September 18th, the 2020 Pan-Pearl River Delta Regional Cooperation Executive Chiefs Joint Meeting was held in Sanya, south China's Hainan Province with the theme of "sharing the opportunities of the Hainan Free Trade Port and promoting the joint development of the Pan-Pearl River Delta Region".

A Boeing 777-300ER jet painted in the theme for the China International Import Expo (CIIE) has enchanted Sri Lankans recently. The special flight from the China Eastern Airlines touched down at the Bandaranaike International airport in the country's capital on Friday evening with the mission to promote the expo and also highlight China-Sri Lanka trade, economic cooperation, and friendship.

China's pork demand and supply will become more balanced in the fourth quarter, as pig production continues to recover, according to an agricultural official. In August, China's pig population rose for a seventh straight month, up 31.3 percent year-on-year. Sow inventory increased for 11 consecutive months, up 37 percent from a year earlier, said the official with the Ministry of Agriculture and Rural Affairs.

China's transportation industry continued to recover in August as economic activities normalized amid effective epidemic control, industry data showed.

To implement China's national strategy of sustainable ecological development and contribute to the country's high-quality economic and environmental development, the national demonstration base for mine ecological rehabilitation research and cooperation of China University of Mining and Technology (Beijing) was recently launched in Hubei province's Yidu city.
